And your Dad too!
……………………..
Well hello Everyone! This Wednesday is typically very wet and windy again.. so I’m happy to not have to go outside today.   Lol..
I’m very happy to bring you this new image from Digistamps4Joy – I simply adore Sir Winston Churchill.. I even have a book (or two) about him!  Smiles.
So when Margy digitized this one from one of her Father’s sketches… well I was over the moon! :0)
Winston
And this is what I  came up with (below..)

A great likeness too (of Winston in his [much] later years!)
The front cover of the book is of course an earlier Sir Winston Churchill than the one on my card front!

Our challenge this fortnight over on the DS4J challenge blog is an Anything Goes … BUT!!! With an added twist!
If you also make your card Masculine themed –
The TWIST BONUS is that if your paper craft project is MALE THEMED, you will also go into a separate random draw for ANOTHER  3 images from  the store!
Now how very cool is that?!

To create my card I used the DS4J Winton Image…
And these FABULOUS papers are part of a Black & White Paper Kit  from Crafty Ann’s!
(Thank you so much Ann & girls for my Win!!) Smiles.

I took this quote from the book above, and created my own sentiment…

The insert sentiment is again created on my PC…
I just know that the recipient will laugh out loud at this one.. (and love the card too… he’s a bit of a Winston fan too!  Smiles.)

To bring this magnificent man to life, I used my Copics in the following shades:-
E11. 00. 000. C3. 1.
I also filled in the bottom part of my image in photoshop so that not only the collar was black.
The highlights I have created with my White Opaque Pen.. and also on the Cigar.. as well as the opaque pen, I used my Copper Star Sakura pen too.
I used my Blue Stabillo Fine Line to enhance Winston’s eyes..
And my Brown Stabillo pen to shade over the black on the cigar.. It doesn’t show quite so well here (I don’t think!) but it’s very effective in real life.  Smiles.

I created a black frame around my image too on my pc… and left a little of the Neenah card showing around that black frame too.. I’m pleased with how this turned out.
Please come and take a look at what my other DTeamies have created – over on the challenge blog..
And remember that you have two whole weeks to come join in the fun with our Anything Goes challenge.
Hugs & HaPPy Crafting Everyone!
